1. In order to have an full width section that is edge to edge, your site's template must be set to  Wide Layout. To do this in the admin navigation, select  Template Options --> Template Settings --> Site Width.
2. Click the radio button under Wide Layout.
3. Click Update Settings.
   
   

Adding in a full width page section

1. In the page editor, click where you want the section to be placed.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Click the Page & Section Layouts Icon in the editing tool bar.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. Select the page section you want to use. In the example below the Section using the primary color selected in Site Color Scheme has been selected.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Edit the placeholder text accordingly. Then Save Page.
