Adding Images to a Page

Online Candidate's  File Manager will resize photos during upload. The maximum image dimensions is 2300 pixels width or 1140 pixels height.  If you have an image that needs to be larger than those dimensions, please put in a support request.

  1.  In The page editor, click on the insert image icon.

  2. You will then see The Image Properties Window.

  3. Click Browse Server. Your computer will open a file upload window. If your image is already on the server, double click the link (name of the image) and you will be taken back to the Image Properties Window.

  4.  To upload, click the arrow pointing up.

  5. Now that the image has been uploaded, it will be listed in the Image Resources Window. Double click the image and you will be taken back to the Image Properties Window.

  6. Edit the Image Properties as desired.
Alternative Text You should always add alternative texts to your images, especially photos of the candidate, so the users can get an idea of what the image is about before it is loaded.
Width: Width of image. You can decrease the size of the original image. If you change this number, you do not have to change the height. It will change accordingly.
    Image Proportional
    Padlock lock.jpg:
When the padlock icon is closed  the image proportions are kept when changing the height and width. When the padlock icon is open ,  the image proportional function is off and you can edit either width or height separately. (i.e. changing width changes height too or vice versa and the image will not be stretched oddly). Most of the time, you will want to leave keep image proportional on.
Image Refresh : The circling arrow icon, next to the padlock icon, will reset the image to its original width and height.
    Height: Height of Image.
Alignment: How text should flow around the picture
Captioned Image: Creates a boxed effect around image for adding captions.

  7. Once you are done, Click OK. Your Image will now appear in the Edit Page Content Window.
